Samuel Hall is a trial lawyer and associate attorney at McNeill Von Maack focusing on business litigation.

Before joining McNeill Von Maack, Mr. Hall spent sixteen months clerking for Judge Ryan Harris on the Utah court of Appeals. Prior to that, Mr. Hall worked as a contract attorney for the Litigation Division of the Utah Attorney General's Office. During his time at the Utah Attorney General's Office, Mr. Hall contributed substantially to an amicus brief from the State of Utah to the United States Supreme Court. Twenty-five state attorneys general elected to join in with the amicus brief, and the position endorsed by the brief ultimately prevailed.

Prior to beginning his practice, Mr. Hall worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Methods at the S.J. Quinney College of Law. Additionally, during his time at S.J. Quinney, Mr. Hall was awarded a Quinney Research Fellowship working one semester with Professor Carissa Hessick and one with Professors Chris Peterson and Ross McPhail. Mr. Hall also was invited to participate in the Global Perspectives on Counter-Terrorism Simulation Design Team, where he worked closely with three other students to conceptualize, proctor, and administer the practical components of S.J. Quinney's Global Perspectives on Counter-Terrorism class.
