Brian Lahti has been at McNeill Von Maack since its founding.  Prior to that, he practiced at Fenwick & West and Magleby Cataxinos & Greenwood.  He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2011.  Mr. Lahti spent the prior five years focusing his practice on litigation for technology-based clients in a range of matters such as patent, trade secret, contract, and securities.  Mr. Lahti has also advocated and lobbied for patent reform, with his efforts being published and cited on the U.S. Senate floor.

Before beginning his practice, Mr. Lahti worked as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure at UC Berkeley School of Law.  Additionally, during his time at Fenwick & West, he was a guest lecturer at his alma mater, where he provided instruction in deposition preparation of witnesses, oversaw students in mock preparation, and provided real-time feedback.
